but the problem that most feminist media presents is that it not only makers mary sues out of the female characters (making them unrelatable), but also makes them men look inferior (again with the unrealistic portrayals).
what i want is a story with competent real women, who compete in a challenging setting full of competent antagonists. with neither side being whitewashed.
